1 Processing of your personal data

1.1 AEC AB (“AEC”) is the data controller with respect to the processing of your personal data.

1.2 AEC AB (556174-9036, Vikingsgatan 3, 411 04 Göteborg, info@aec.se) will store information on the following purposes (the “Purpose”)

• Being able to contact a user
• Validate and assign licenses to users if a software has been purchased
• Whenever a demonstrated interest AEC products has been made

1.3 AEC will collect and process the following personal data of yours:
Name, company , email address, register of purchased and shown interests in licenses and other necessary contact information.

1.4 All personal data will be treated as confidential information and will be used for the Purpose.

1.5 Your personal data will be stored by AEC AB based on our servers located in Sweden and may be accessed by other group entities.

1.6 Please be informed that the level of data protection as currently applied and enforced in countries outside the European Union does not conform to the level of data protection for personal data currently applied and enforced within the European Union. The transfer of personal data between AEC entities outside the European Union will be based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

1.7 AEC will keep your personal data up to two years from the day you submitted your personal data to AEC, unless interaction between you and the AEC team continues after two years, or if AEC is required under applicable legislation to keep your personal data for a longer period of time.

2.2 You can obtain further information on the personal data which AEC AB stores and processes about you by contacting our Local Data Protection Responsible at info@aec.se. Furthermore, you may object to your personal data being processed or request that your personal data is rectified. If you wish to object to your personal data being processed or have your personal data rectified, please contact our Local Data Protection Responsible at info@aec.se.

2.3 If you have any complaints about AEC’s processing of your personal data, you may contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Sw. Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).

2.4 You may request a copy of the legal basis for transferring your personal data between group entities by contacting our Local Data Protection Responsible at info@aec.se.

3 Legal basis for Processing personal data

AEC will process your personal data for the following legitimate purposes:

• To be able to contact users in applicable cases
• To be able to validate and assign entitled licenses to users
• To be able to collect anonymized data to track usage behaviours with the purpose to improve the product experience.

It is the assessment of AEC that this legitimate interest of AEC to process your personal data is not overridden by your interest in AEC processing the personal data.
